Send a tip.
On-chain Bitcoin only.
This site has no ads, no paywall, no sponsorship, and no affiliate stuffing. It is funded by tips, paid in Bitcoin. If a page saved you from a bad decision or taught you something a textbook would not, send a few sats. If not, share the link instead, that helps just as much.
Lowest trust, highest finality
Settles in one block on average. Works from any wallet, any country, no permission required. The QR opens a bitcoin: URI in any compatible wallet. Don't have BTC yet? Start here.

Verify the first and last 4 characters before sending. Address poisoning is real. The QR is the safest path.
Where tips go
Domain renewal, hosting, the API keys behind the live price ticker and rate data, and the time spent fact-checking every claim against primary sources. The site has no employees, no contractors, and no paid editorial. Every sat replaces an ad slot that does not exist.

What not to send
Altcoins, stablecoins, NFTs, or memecoins. The site has a clear editorial position; see Bitcoin vs altcoins. Any incoming non-BTC crypto will be ignored.
Fiat. The site does not accept dollars, cards, PayPal, Strike, Cash App, Venmo, or any other fiat rail. If you want to support the site, buy a small amount of Bitcoin first; how to buy Bitcoin walks through the cleanest paths.
Sponsorship, affiliate, or paid-placement offers wrapped as a "tip." Those are not tips; see Contact for what is and is not a real inquiry.
Tips you cannot afford. The site is free; sharing a page costs nothing and is more valuable than a $5 tip from someone whose budget cannot support it. Read Order of Operations first.
Sending a Bitcoin tip is a taxable disposal in the US: you owe capital gains on the difference between cost basis and current price for the sats you spend. For tips under $20 this is usually noise; for larger amounts, see Bitcoin taxes.
