Yes. Download it below, free, no email wall: 21 tabs, 3,075 formulas, one cash-flow spine, a 2026 federal bracket engine, separate with-Bitcoin and no-Bitcoin projections, and 23 built-in tests a Dashboard banner watches. - One input spine: income, spending, and contributions live on one tab, so the Dashboard can never disagree with the Budget. A built-in test proves it every recalculation.

- Bitcoin and no-Bitcoin paths are computed separately across 3 return scenarios and 61 projected years. A toggle picks which one the headline shows; it never rewrites the comparison.
- Market inputs are timestamped snapshots (CoinMetrics, FRED) with sources listed in the file. No API calls, no accounts, no tracking.
- The whole thing is locked against accidental breakage but has no password. Every formula is inspectable.

How do you know the math is right?
The workbook audits itself. A Checks tab runs 23 unit and integration tests inside the file: emergency-fund arithmetic, debt payoff against the closed-form solution, capital gains fully inside and straddling the 0% band, the Dashboard savings ratesavings rateThe percentage of your income that you save and invest. The single most powerful lever in building wealth.Full definition against the Budget spine to the penny, and a fixed $100,000 bracket walk that must return exactly $16,712 from both the Tax Center and the Retirement Drawdown engine. - 23 / 23 built-in checks pass, recalculated in Excel, cached values verified by independent read-back.
- 3,075 / 3,075 formulas carry live results. 0 error cells.
- A clean-room re-implementation of the 61-year projection engine reproduced every cell with 0.0 relative error.
- All 4 Bitcoin stress paths, the zero-BTC profile, and the married-filing-jointly switch were run through the real Excel engine on mutated copies. All tests stayed green.
What if you own zero Bitcoin?
Then set the stack to 0 and the Bitcoin allocation to 0%, and every tab stays coherent: your contributions flow to stocks, bonds, and cash, the with-Bitcoin and no-Bitcoin projections converge to the same number, and no cell errors out. There is a regression test for exactly this case. This site's view on fiat debasement is not hidden, but the workbook is a personal finance tool first: the Bitcoin column is there when you want it and silent when you do not.
If you do hold BTC, you get separate glidepath scenarios (10% to 2%, 25% to 5%, 40% to 8% annual growth decaying over 20 years), four stress paths including a permanent -80% shock, sats math, and a with-vs-without comparison that the display toggle can never collapse.
What data does it use, and does it phone home?
Market numbers are as-of snapshots with dates and sources on the Site Data tab: Bitcoin $60,065.60 (2026-07-01, CoinMetrics), 30-year mortgage 6.43% and 10-year Treasury 4.44% (FRED), CPIConsumer Price Index (CPI)The government's measure of how much a typical basket of consumer goods costs over time.Full definition 4.17% and M2 growth 5.58% year over year. Refreshing them is three steps and about two minutes; the instructions are in the file. The workbook makes zero network calls: no API keys, no accounts, no telemetry. Your numbers never leave your machine, which is exactly how a financial spreadsheet should behave.
How do you get started?
- 1. Fill in Budget & Cash Flow: income, spending, and your monthly investing amount.
- 2. Set your profile on Assumptions: ages, allocation, scenario seeds, BTC stack (0 is fine).
- 3. Read the Dashboard. Pick a scenario, flip the stress paths, watch the milestones fill.
Requirements: desktop Microsoft Excel on Windows or Mac. Built and verified in Excel 16; LibreOffice opens it but is unverified, and Google Sheets will not preserve the protection or the test harness. Formulas are locked with no password, so unprotect any sheet if you want to take the engine apart.
Questions people ask
Is it really free?
Yes. No email wall, no upsell, no affiliate links, same as everything else on this site. How this site sustains itself is documented at how this site makes money.
Can I edit the formulas?
All of them. Sheets are protected with no password purely to prevent accidental breakage. Every seed (tax figures, market data, scenario returns) is a labeled, editable cell.
Will it break when I change inputs?
That is what the 23-test Checks tab is for. It re-runs on every recalculation, and the Dashboard banner turns red if anything fails. Warning-style validation on every input tells you what to enter without ever blocking you.
Is this financial advice?
No. It is education and tooling: it projects assumptions you control and shows its work. It does not know your situation. Read the disclosures.
