It failed its own test, so it was retired.

This site's rule for tools is that the math has to prove itself, and the Command Center desktop app could not. Adversarial stress-testing found defects in its state-level tax estimates, including states where estimated liability was overstated roughly ninefold, so every download was pulled on 2026-07-22. The app will not be patched or replaced through this site. No successor download or release date is promised.
The retirement is permanent. This page remains as a public correction record so old links and prior users land on the defect notice instead of a silent 404.
- If you downloaded the old desktop app, stop relying on its state-level tax output. The defect and the takedown are logged, dated, on the disclosures page.
- Every calculator on this site is still live: all 96 tools run in your browser against the same cited, timestamped assumptions.
- The Command Center Excel workbook remains offline. There is no waitlist, replacement download, or release schedule.
